Moby Wrap Inc. was created by parents in search of the perfect baby carrier. After extensive research, including the sampling of countless slings and wraps, their solution was a variation of a time-tested European carrier. Made from the softest of cotton fabrics, the Moby Wrap is by far the most comfortable baby carrier available today. It distributes weight evenly from the wearer’s shoulders to hips and aligns baby's center of gravity as close to the wearer's body as possible. Wherever the founders went, they would be approached by people wanting one of their carriers, and it wasn't long before the constant demand put the parents in the supply business. Since its inception in April 2003, MOBY (MOther and baBY) has focused on sharing the benefits of babywearing with parents and caregivers worldwide. With informed parenting as its mission, Moby partners with other organizations that emphasize empowering parents. Moby Wrap moved out of the founders’ garage and into a warehouse in Chico, California in 2007 and currently employs 15 staff members.

In a Moby Wrap, baby is secured by three sections of fabric for triple wrapped security. A Moby Wrap’s one-way stretch cotton and wide width ensure that your baby is held close and tight. When sleeping, the back of your baby’s head can also be secured under the cotton fabric for added safety.
