September 11th 2010 : Silhouette party at Babesta, NYC

If you (or your child) were not at Hilary Duff's wedding brunch or J Lo's 40th birthday, it's entirely possible that you haven't had a handcut silhouette created of your distinguished profile by Los Angeles based master scissor artist Karl Johnson. Worry not! He'll be at Babesta Cribz on Saturday, September 11 from 10:00am-5:00pm. We are taking appointments in 5 minute intervals throughout the day.

These will make great gifts for holiday and perfectly personalized décor for a nursery. Johnson is a whiz with scissors (a regular Edward Scissorhands), and can create your personalized profile in a flash.

The nitty gritty: Hand cut profiles are $25 each, and $15 for additional copies of the same profile. We will also have frames on hand available for purchase so everyone can walk out with a complete gift.

This is a rare opportunity to see this craft his is an unusual skill in this era of computer generated imagery. We¹re thrilled to be able to host this art event at Babesta and hope that you join us and spread the word!

Please call 646 290 5508 to book your appointment!
