  1. New Kiddos on the Block: Babesta Beat & Bugaboo at Brookfield Place!

    bugaboo runner We had a wonderful time at the Brookfield block party this weekend where the Bugaboo Runner was the star of the show at the Babesta booth. Handing out the latest edition of the Babesta Beat on a gorgeous Sunday, it was the perfect weather to chat with some downtown locals (tourists too) about our new store at Brookfield Place and the hottest items out this fall season. After taking a relaxing spin around the block party parents were ready to learn about the new Runner and how to stay active with their baby. Lively parents you do not have to compromise your daily jogging routine since Bugaboo offers two options for the Runner; adding the new edition to your stroller portfolio or simply attaching the runner extension to your existing Bugaboo Bee / Bee³, Bugaboo Cameleon³, Bugaboo Buffalo or Bugaboo Donkey.   2. Hudson River Trail is Calling You

    Make this Sunday an active day outside soaking up the last rays of September sunshine. Begin the morning by testing out a Bugaboo Runner (or runner extension if you have your own) from the Babesta booth at Brookfield Place's Block Party, going on 11:30-4:30pm. Babesta Block Party Borrow-a-runner for a few hours and see downtown’s Hudson River Park attractions in a whole new light. With so many exciting nooks & crannies throughout lower Manhattan’s answer to Central Park, you might forget to keep running. The family friendly trail is chalk full of activities and sights, so we narrowed down the best spots south of Chelsea Piers.

  4. Calling all chefs!!

    Summer is the perfect time to train your little chef! It's a great indoor activity if it's too hot outside, but make sure to have your air conditioner on, since the kitchen can heat up!   5. Asphalt Green in BPC is Open, Hooray!

    On June 15th, Battery Park City has opened the long-awaited Asphalt Green located on 555 E 90th St  New York, NY 10128. They are open: Mon-Fri from 5:30 AM to 9:45 PM and Sat - Sun from 8:00 AM to 7:45 PM. You will need a membership to enter, but you can also pay a daily fee, if you would like to take a class for the day or use their facilities.   7. Oui Oui! Let's Visit!

    Love French pastries? Interested about France's Independence Day? Enjoy meeting new people, face painting, and drawing contests? You're in luck! On July 14th, Bastille Day will be held in, our very own, New York! It will be between Lexington and Fifth Avenues, from noon to 5PM. Families will definitely enjoy this day, as well as friends who want to learn more about the French culture.   10. Back in the City-Whew, we made it!

    In meandering the streets in the 2nd and 3rd, outside of our apartment in Paris, I was struck by all of the beautiful doors and wanted to use them as a backdrop for my “city” shots. -->In front of a gorgeous Tiffany blue door, with a Babesta KISS tee and Munster animal print jeans and amazing tiger print sunglasses by Mini Rodini.
