Ready to Spring ahead into summertime and 30 days of music to look forward to this June! Starting tomorrow!

Music is really taking over the streets of NYC, not just coming from your headphones.  We love that Mayor de Blasio proclaimed June music month and in the first-ever citywide celebration we'll be able to hear the sweet sounds coming from free walking tours, concerts and rehearsal spaces for thirty days!

The month of music hits a high note on the first day of summer, Wednesday June 21st with Make Music NY.

Let the music play! Pianos are plunked in the middle of the city for the public to play for the first day of summer event. This event, taking place in all 5 boroughs on streets, sidewalks and parks, features over 1,000 concerts. Get into the action by registering ahead. The inclusive event invites amateurs and professionals to grab their instruments and play on the longest day of the year! Join in, on the streets of NYC.

And sidenote: What goes good with music mania! Ice cream! Join your favorite flavors at Bryant Park this weekend for the Scooper Bowl an all-you-can-eat 3-day extravaganza beginning Friday!
