post no bills poems Looking for a Monday Night event to get your culture fix? Look no further than right here in Tribeca! Street artist, Robert Janz and longtime Tribeca resident, is having his art compiled into a book (the first time his painted words have been published). A native of Ireland, the 80+ year old still has to dodge cops, but is able to escape the law on a few technicalities. His street art riffs on "Post No Bills" combining words, animals and even mountains (i.e. Post No Hills) to create his poems and artwork. By using washable paint and drawing on existing graffiti (strictly speaking), expressing his viewpoint without spoiling any public property. Carini-Lang Carpets on Greenwich Street is launching the collection of Janz's handiwork, seen around town since 2011, with the Post No Bills Poems, which captures 7 photographers interpretation of Janz's art. You can also order your copy of Post No Bills Poems online and next time you are out and about give your local streets and extra glance.CARINI LANG Carpets335 Greenwich Street 6:30-8:30pmrobert janzBy Pia Finnigan
