it’s been a whirlwind of trade shows between Playtime New York, NY Now (Gift fair) and now Toy Fair. This week was all about toys and there was, as usual, tons to see at the show – it is BIG! Art was on our minds as we always love to see artist collabs! We were bananas about the new Andy Warhol Foundation crossover with Kid Robot. The Dunny is super cool and a fun way to bring a classic pop artist with the toy company that created the preferred surface for a new breed of pop artists. There are collectibles, plush and even a pretty cool chess set. We also got to see in person the Yummy World cheesy snack. Mmm. It’s outrageously orange & deliciously adorable! What else? We were on the lookout for more toys for the bigger kids – some building toys and others that reinforce STEM skills. We have a couple brands we’re mulling over to see what will be a good fit for the shop! Some other highlights: the new smaller PlayForever cars at a $25 price point, Loog’s mini guitars for 3 years+ (now put together for you), baby headphones, a watermelon ball for playing in the pool (it bounces on the floor and sides of the pool & looked fun), a new colorway for Mini Micro scooters and Skip Hop’s city ready playmat and Zoo animal booster seats. Cute! Stay tuned by checking in on the site, to see when these new birthday-presents-to-be and the like hit the shelves!
